The Rock Youth Department (RYD)

The Rock Youth Department (RYD) is committed to providing an environment that nurtures, and enriches the youth for God.  Our goal for the youth here at The Rock is to make sure that the Youth become strong mature Christians.  The challenges of life can be overwhelming to youth, more so today than ever before.  That is why it is integral that we help them become the best Christian, the best person they can be.  For the bible says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13.  “You are entitled to the blessing if you apply the principle.”

It is important that we engage our youth on their level, so that nothing is lost in translation of the word.

Encouragement
Youth of today grapple with more issue than with previous generations.  So it is important that we give them encouragement.

Empowerment
In order to stand firmly in the faith, they need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
