Church Mission and Doctrine
Making Disciples through Evangelism, Exaltation and Edification.
Evangelism To encourage non-believers to accept Jesus Christ to the point of Transformation. “And the lord said unto the servant, go out into the highways and the hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be full.” (Luke 14:23)
Exaltation To encourage believers to passionately view and follow Christ. “…that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”. (1 Peter 2:9)
Edification To build the spiritual character of believers and help them understand that they are called and needed in ministry. “But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)
We accomplish this mission by following the Discipleship Plan with each believer. This plan consists of knowing, growing, serving, and replicating.
What We Believe
-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and only written Word of God.
-
We believe that there is one God, Eternally existent in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
-
We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the Rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at his return
-
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance: Faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water
-
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing to the human body in answer to believing prayer
-
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it
-
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world.
