Armor Bearer
The primary purpose of the Armor Bearer(s) is to serve and to help the Pastor/First Lady. An Armor Bearer is called to care for, minister to, assist, support and encourage the Pastor/First Lady. Their primary functions are to attend to the Pastor’s and his wife’s expressed or anticipated needs while in service and beyond. Intercede in prayer on behalf of the Pastor/First Lady. Adhere to any directives or responsibilities given by the Pastor/First Lady.

Finance Team
The primary purpose of the Finance Team is to create, maintain, and monitor sound business processes, which are designed to ensure that we are proven to be worthy stewards of the tithes and offerings entrusted to us by our members, visitors, and friends. Being worthy stewards ultimately results in providing an adequate financial infrastructure with which the mission and vision of The Rock can be supported.

Hospitality
"Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” Romans 12:13

Organization

Vision/Goal: Our vision is to show the love of God by demonstrating kindness and hospitality to visitors and guests of the ministry. ”Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.” (Hebrews 13:2)

Purpose: The purpose of the Hospitality is to serve others with a smile and a willing heart.

Duties: The hospitality’ duties consist of but are not limited to the following:

• Works in all areas of food services.
• Provides hostess services for all guests, leaders and members as needed.
• Prepare food for fellowship meals, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners and other church related functions.

Meetings: The Hospitality meets every 2nd Sunday immediately after the 11:00 Sunday Service

Marketing
The Marketing department is comprised of volunteers who have various expertise and knowledge surrounding public relations, marketing, promotions, graphics, producing, project management and event planning or have the willingness and dedication to learn. The volunteers are responsible for making sure Pastor Jacobs and The Rock are represented in a positive light, as well as promoting events and activities in both the Christian and non-Christian communities.
