The Lewis Jacobs Memorial Christian Academy is sponsored by the Rock Worship Center, Church of God In Christ in Charlotte, NC and has been strategically remodeled with children in mind.

The L.J.M. academy is designed to nurture and encourage the cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each child and to foster a thirst for learning and lifelong relationship with God.

Activities and lessons are planned using a developmental focus for age appropriate learning.

Staff:  Our Staff of professionally trained and certified teachers and teacher assistants are chosen for their academic qualifications and special abilities in working with young children.  

Admission Criteria:  All children between the ages of 6 weeks to school Age.

Hours of Operation:  6:30am-6:00pm

Curriculum:  The L.J.M. academy utilizes the A Beka Curriculum as well as the Creative Curriculum for all children.  The A Beka Book approach to Christian education keeps learning lively, interesting, and memorable. Our materials reflect sensible theory that is firmly anchored to practicality. A Beka Book materials have been developed as a result of 50 years of actual classroom experience
